For those of you who had a traumatic birth I wanted to share this info. was born at home & delivered by daddy (on purpose). I had previous trauma so I went unassisted. A lot of people don't know they can simply have their baby So yes in all 50 states it is 100% legal to simply have your baby. When a child is born outside the hospital without the assistance of a midwife/dr that child's parents file for a birth certificate themselves. The process of filing for a birth certificate is simple: 1. at

Congratulations! I had a mostly wild pregnancy and planned for an unassisted birth but unfortunately at almost 44 weeks my insomnia kicked into overdrive. I ended up exhausted, dehydrated, and decided to go in. Very grateful I was able to have a natural birth in the end, my son and I were the talk of the hospital lol. When the time comes for the next baby we are extra prepared and hopeful for our freebirth! 1d Like Reply OP 1 congrats on your wild pregnancy and how was baby doing at 44 weeks? I'

Today we experienced something I hope never happens again. I also learned a lot. Noelle our 22mo old went from happy and fine to 24 hrs later common cough, runny nose.. kept her home from school. That night she was burning up and given children's Tylenol for her fever. When she woke up you could hear her discomfort in her chest by the phlegm in her cough and the sound of her cry. We rested and hydrated with pedialyte. I get up to make some tea and with her in my arms she went into a Febrile Seiz

She came to within a few minutes of being in the car and I was beside myself she was breathing, returned to normal skin and crying. She was not herself yet but she was alive. I share all of this because when kids under 6yrs of age have the Flu or a cold some can have a fever of 101F that is nothing to be alarmed about... but 1 in 30 can respond with a non harmful seizure. These seizures are so scary but they are not permanent, damaging but if not treated quickly can turn to be life threatening i

●●● she I'm a bad mom because I broke my daughters snow globe she just got from her teacher yesterday kept saying yesterday how special it was to her and I just shattered it! I didn't see it in the gift bag hidden underneath all her toys. She was trying to hide it from her sister and covered it with barbies. I set the bag down a little too hard on the stairs while cleaning the living room and I heard it crack. My husband is currently using his lunch break time to run around to stores to try to f

My 6 year old son and 2 year old son takes showers together from time to time. They took one last night and this morning I noticed my 2 year old eyebrows have been shaved. Obviously I will no longer leave my razor in there (wasn't thinking at the time), but what is an appropriate punishment? My 6 year old doesn't know. that I know yet. I'm so livid.

I don't think a punishment is appropriate at all...a conversation on cause and effect needs to be had but he's 6 and with that being said why is a 6 year old kid watching a 2 year old kid in the bathtub? Even together in the tub so much worse could have happened than lost eyebrows 3m Like Reply

It was not until I checked out in Kate's line, that my complaint was acted upon. She immediately contacted her supervisor,

This is an EXCELLENT evidence based summary on the matter: https:// www.aims.org.uk/ information/item/vitamin-k It's so rare a baby would become ill and need this dose they have, you have aswel not have it. Babies are born with low Vitamin K - if there born with low level... maybe it's because they don't need it? Let me know what you think xx Write a comment... ●●● Vitamin K and your Newborn Baby. T... An amazing group. Had my first homebirth for my second baby in Oct 2022 and it was absolutely amazing even though he was born with a defect that wasn't detected until the next day in the evening, I'd still do it all over again! I'd just make sure the midwives gave the baby a 100000% good check over this time But yeah, absolutely wonderful experience so excited for you! 14 m Like Reply

FINALLY! we found a suitable home. Open, bright and airy and in a gates golf estate which is an absolute plus in our country. The other amazing thing is that this little town is so small and so quaint. So we are stoked. But please help me decide which kid gets which room. First two pictures (of rooms) are the furthest away from the MB. My thoughts were to have Marchie in the room seen in the first two pictures and April 2023 in the second bedroom seen in the last two photos. It actually has an e
